My apologies.

Your micro diatribe earlier just shows that you're willing to get your tampon string in a knot over the fact that Trump isn't being amicable to the Dems
It really doesn't matter how many times I explain why I think this was a poor choice of words. Nah, you know what I'm really thinking.

Because this is all political puffery to use leverage to get DEMs to agree to the GOP/Trump Admin's CR (not budget) and the admin is not really trying to fire all of those federal employees.
I'm starting to think that is the case. I guess we'll know soon enough. But if he really wanted to thin out these government agencies, then you would think that the cuts would've started as soon as the the shutdown started, not several days after with repeated threats about doing it in between.

Yeah if they're serious about cuts,
1. Why not, you know, just pass a budget with these cuts? Hell, even a shitty CR with these cuts?
2. Why give a deadline as a threat? So if the DEMs cave today, none are fired, right? What then?

Trump has zero shits to give-period. But now that they took out Charlie, ask DJT how many fricks he gives.
It is flip the tables time. Put on your pearls to pull. How do you say frick DIPLOMACY and PC in cajun french?

Immigration is one of his core beliefs, so he makes stuff happen there. Shrinking government isn't anything he really cares about outside of the political advantage it might present.

No doubt it was, you are now witnessing ‘the script’

as soon as the clock struck 12:00?
They couldn’t, the furlough administration day needed to occur

why announce your plan to the dems beforehand, and give them a chance to change their votes?
This is a good point about a lot of things. Hopefully it just means Trump holds all the cards. Truth is, like always, if he could get help from RINOS, we could take the country back

What is in play is how much ammunition he gives them for no reason and how much harder it makes the job he's trying to do.
How much harder can it be then destroying his life through bullshite lawsuits, raiding his home, and shooting him in the head?

because it was known in congress critter land 2 weeks ago that shutdown schumer had no other choice to shut down to appease the tard AOC's.
go look up Kennedy (La) saying this...
shutdown schumer is up for reelection, is a Jewish man- that Illan's people just attacked.
now shutdown schumer has to contend with the coven of his party cheerleading a synagogue terrorist attack.
But he's going to eventually have to let enough of the other dem senators vote to end the shutdown and he knows it even if he can't vote for it himself because of his fear of AOC taking his seat. At some point they'll have to end it, and I sure wouldn't be giving them any more incentive for ending before making all of the permenant cuts that Trump is threatening.

Speaker Mikey would also surely slow roll taking the vote to open govt, no?
It would be Thune that would have to slow roll the vote taking because the House Republicans have already passed their CR. It's the Senate dems that have to change their vote. And Thune has already put it to another vote yesterday, and I'm sure as soon as the dems make it known that they are folding it will put pressure on Thune to put it to a vote immediately.

This is optics for citizens. Decisions are already made. See what Argentina (Milei) did. That’s what you are soon to see…and it’s glorious! Cut the fat! Lots of it!

On big stuff, like spending or the wall or Obamacare, how often has Trump held all the cards? What are the big issues he got total wins on?
I agree with your "hopefully", I hope he does too when it comes to cutting bureaucrats. History suggests he doesn't.
