How much did you gross last year ?

Only stupid people who pay taxes vote Democrat.

I singled out Democrat voters because it's true .

Republican politicians suck as much as Democrat politicians.

How much of this debt is due to this politically induced Wuhan Virus hysteria? 4 Trillion?

According to his post, 5.7T

I'd also like to know how much new spending Trump has actually had a hand in. I know a lot of the spending was initiated in Obama's terms and meant to hit the books later.

Still, I don't support deficits.

So, to the OP, I support a balanced budget amendment. Do you?

We should not force businesses to close doors and then increase debt to pay employees. Leave the country open. I would move my arse out of NY and Michigan so fast...

Absolutely.

I'd like to see the age to draw SS gradually moved to where it's tied to life expectancy. I'd like to see term limits in congress since the greatest roadblock to fiscal responsibility is re-election. I'd like to see the military spend a whole lot smarter.

LOL

You want to force people to work longer before they get THEIR money ?

Let's get rid of the child tax credit and EIC first.

You misspelled eliminated. SS will NEVER be financially viable unless we go back to the average family popping out 4.5 kids.

Question of the day - who holds the purse strings for America?

Hint - it ain't the President or the Senate

You do realize that after the housing and stock market crash during the last year of the Bush presidency, the first two major stimulus packages were approved by republicans right before Obama was sworn in, and the payments were spread out during his first term?

Did he have a choice?

NGAF clown. national debt is a lost cause and always will be.trump could pay off debt and some democrat or RINO would run it back up.

jobs and economy, low taxes and regs. national security and SCOTUS judges. that is what people care about.

nice job forgetting corona spending. your arse would be screaming in the street had he did nothing to help people and businesses.

you ain't seen nuttin' yet. wait until Congress gets done "bailing out" business (like airlines), states, cities, and anyone else who holds out a hand. What you are witnessing is the end of America as the land of liberty. With the bailouts will come the need for huge tax increases which will in the end lead to government control of the economy. As one post put it the Bill of Rights is on the way out. What we'll have is the Bill of Permissions.
