Trump threatened today to investigate Google, Amazon and Facebook for anti trust violations

Are they acting in restraint of trade?

Are the violating anti-trust laws?

Then what is the problem?

So do you continue to complain, or do you fix it? All you do here is bitch.

Like I said, not a fan. But it’s the law. The real solution is to fix it.

It is exactly that and Obama should have been run out of office for it.

FANG is run amok asswipe. They’ve monopolzied private data collection (federally and internationally)

I supposed you decried government when they broke up standard oil too.

They also in Tandem with Obama’s scrupulous government outpaced the U.s. military in terms of development.

Seems a perfect application of anti-trust laws to me

You are conflating antitrust laws and companies POTUS doesn’t like. That is wrong.

Make your nonantitrust arguments.

First time I have ever used the term but how else do you describe the move toward an economy where the politically connected are rewarded with government protectionism and the political opponents are punished with the over reaching power of government?

There is a reason those laws exist. And when applicable and it is beyond applicable with all three, it is time to do what's best for the American people. All three of these are bigger threats to the safety and prosperity of the American people and bigger threats to democracy than 100,000 Russian shite stirrers.

If these companies are regulating speech so as to impact the national debate and collude to impact the elections, then they need to be investigated like Russians.

These companies have become monopolies. They need to be forced to allow free speech in this great land.

Why do YOU hate freedom IB?

None of them are monopolies and the laws are BS too.

Wow! Do you thin pols rewarding their supporters is new and unique. The Clintons anyone! And their 8 year run of plundering and payoffs. Then the outrageous Obama admin where everyone with a "D" by their name was rewarded. shite we had housewives running sophisticated branches of government. And taking care of their friends and supporters. OUT OF CONTROL.

I voted for Paul and only voted Trump when the choice was him or the corrupt HRC.

One of the main things I hated the Clintons for was their conspiring with trial lawyers to pocket billions on the tobacco lawsuits and there out and out abuse of the Sherman anti trust act to get Microsoft on behalf of Apple. Gore ended up on Apples board. Both instances were huge abuse of power.

Of course it is oppression. You pay to defend yourself from the Fed and tell me if it is oppression.

Big tech needs oversight with the bullshite they’re pulling. Google is more powerful than the US government and needs to be checked.
