For the next election this is a perfect example of Grabbing Defeat from the Jaws of Victory.

And this fall's election is not just any election. It is critical for our survival as free people.

This board is always criticizing woman voters who don't always vote conservative. The Supreme Court just shot the GOP in the foot.

Trump is pro life but he is pragmatic and knows how to win. The GOP does not. The Democrats will lie and say this bans all abortions and the GOP will be quiet on this.

Is abortion wrong? Hell yes. So is a lot of things that is happening in our country today, much of it sanctioned or done by our federal government. And I believe it should be up to the people. Unfortunately many of those critical votes have just been changed away from the greater good. That is hard to say a a grandfather of 4 but it is reality.

As Rush would say you've got to live in Realville.

There must be a reason why you didn't say this was from the NYT.

There are tons of women that are pro-life. The country is pretty split on this issue and inflation/the economy is so bad that barring a Federal Reserve miracle abortion won’t be that relevant in November. It’s a niche fringe issue

And yet he campaigned on overturning Roe v. Wade back in 2016 and went out of his way to appoint observant, Catholic justices to the Supreme Court. Yeah. I call BS on this story.

According to NYT lying liars who lie just to lie....
quote:

Trump thinks this ban is bad news for the GOP
Yet ....

quote:

Trump said the decision in the abortion case and others recently announced by the court, “were only made possible because I delivered everything as promised.”

Trump called Friday’s Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v. Wade “the biggest WIN for LIFE in a generation”

Trump gave himself credit for the outcome in the controversial decision to undo federal abortion rights.

Trump said recent court decisions, “were only made possible because I delivered everything as promised, including nominating and getting three highly respected and strong Constitutionalists confirmed to the United States Supreme Court. It was my great honor to do so!"

Hey Eurocat, guess what lying liars who lie just to lie love to do. They love to lie!

Achieving a major element of the GOP's platform is bad news??? It is historically good news. This is why we voted them in.

"Oh no, don't achieve your goals because then your candidates can't get elected to help achieve your goals.'

It's completely idiotic. Do you think the left cares about things like this? They pushed through Obamacare because it was a huge platform of theirs, they got crushed in 2010, but now they are back in the majority and even though the GOP held Congress for 8 years they couldn't end Obamacare (frick you McCain). Take today for the massive win it is.

This is a bigger win than a political superbowl. It has been 50 years in the making.

It's not a ban. It returns regulation of abortion to the states instead of states having to navigate a vague, poor written, poorly reasoned pseudo-statute that has been posing as a Supreme Court decision for half a century.

Abortions will be more legal than they've ever been in California, New York, Massachusetts, etc.

This country is in the shitter. The shitter. Economically. Culturally

This country really needs to go red this fall. That is really important

It just sucks that this couldn’t wait until after November. It gives those frickers a glimmer of hope of winning now. It gives the manstream media something to rail about for months now. They had nothing. Nothing

This doesn’t help
