You keep trying to push this assumption and it doesn't make it anymore true.
You believe it was going to come, but history doesn't back that up.
We've been in this conflict since 1953, so there is a LOT of data.

Sweet, get the troops out. Start today.
Abandon Europe to the Muslims.

We have hit the bottom of the meme. Incredible.

If you don’t have a plan, don’t act like you do. If you don’t have a clear goal, don’t act until you do. If you have an objective, make the case for it to get buy-in and act with the will and logistics to support it.
This action appears poorly thought out, half-measured, and with no clear end-game or means of de-escalation.
Attacking Iran will always mean disruptions to shipping lanes and attacks on regional energy infrastructure. If those are acceptable risks, act accordingly, but not finishing the job just leaves all of those things vulnerable. If you don’t have the political will or forces to do that whole job, the world is probably better off leaving the status quo alone.

And the kicker is that a very small proportion of the oil that flows though the strait is headed for the US.
In effect, the Europeans are not willing to pursue their own share of the supply chain.
The purest form of Socialism is slavery.

If we killed all their leadership, who's controlling the strait

So you come up with this synopsis while the Iranians are mulling over 15 specific end-game objectives.
The world is better off if Iran does not possess a nuclear arsenal and a ballistic missile delivery capability.

They just have to outlast us, and it appears that's working.
If we pull out without regime change and the SOH fricked, then that's a victory for the regime.

Agree with the sentiment but the UK has an adequate supply in the North Sea.

Also, of note, Hegseth said "regime change has occurred in Iran." No shite they've killed everyone and then the ones after that.
Nice word play in an attempt to wrap this up before Donnie's approval ratings sink even lower.
That is just fricking stupid.

The Iranian economy is on the brink of complete collapse.
Nobody can say that Trump isn't giving them an opportunity to end this.
The notion that we have to follow an exact timeline is purely media fabricated BS.

This alone shows just how retarded you are.
This is a geopolitical masterpiece that stops Iran in their tracks and neuters China and Russia. If you can’t see the long term positive implications you need to remove your TDS colored glasses.

Then liberal bleeding heart pu$$ies destroyed it.
This is also a sign of a dying Empire. Leadership is based less on competence and signs of vitality. Think about Teddy Roosevelt and how he was portrayed vs frail arse Joe Biden.
Other factors:
Rapid Inflation (older empires debased coinage by blending in cheaper metals with silver)
Welfare
Fascination with sexual deviance

True. I didn't want this either but I'm holding out hope it was for good reasons we don't yet know. May it end well for the Iranian people. It better have come mid terms.

Who said they do?
I said the Iranian regime just has to outlast us, and it appears that strategy is working.
