The Government has no money to hand back to you. We are $40 trillion in debt. This money will come from the Feds money printer
It will permanently increase the cost of living via inflation, so you'd better hang onto that $5K to offset price increases.

It will never happen because this was Trump beating the Dems at their own game. The Dems promise free healthcare, no rent, free childcare, etc. knowing that they can't deliver and then blame the Reps for not being able to provide these things to their voters.
Trump will use this to get back at the Dems and how they promise stuff, knowing they won't deliver it. I think it is smart, make the Dems vote against it!

Home slice, there is ZERO fiscal responsibility in politics today. The only question is do you want some of your tax dollars back or do you want the government to spend it?
Anything else is purely academic and rhetoric.
