Made me wonder.
What would the US do if Iran succeeded in assassinating our President?
What kind of hellfire and brimstone would befall them if that happened?
I realized I have no frame of reference for predicting or even guessing what we might do in that case.

I wouldn’t expect much. Half the country would want blood and half would be overjoyed. The few in the middle would be made but would not want a major response.

US would do nothing. Vance is itching to get out of there. Besides, half the cult would think Israel responsible for the assassination to provoke all out war with Iran. The other half of the cult would lay blame at a "deep state" that yearns for status quo. A few people in here would think Trump employed a body double while he prepares the Rods of God.

Probably a formal declaration of war from Congress. Nukes would realistically be on the table. If all our allies didn’t join in the fight they’d face serious economic sanctions at the very least and probably covert actions by the CIA and military to overthrow their governments.

It's amazing to me the number of people who view foreign policy in terms of elementary school rules for "fairness."
Foreign policy isn't elementary school, and it's not domestic law enforcement.
It's the jungle, and I refer you to the American poet Axel Rose who sang about the jungle, "You can have anything you want, but you better not take it from me."
The only "right" is might. Thus the old saying, "All's fair in love and war." There's no police who will enforce rules. There are other countries who might attack the US, but I don't think they would do so in the case of retribution for Iran taking out our president, plus I just don't think other countries want a piece of the US military.
So it might be "fair" for Iran to want an eye for an eye, but that is completely irrelevant.
I don't think we'd go nuclear, but I think what would happen would make this last 4 months of bombing look tame.

Well for starters they took our people hostage in 79. They’ve killed 10s of thousands of people all over the Middle East with their proxies. Not to mention they’re directly responsible for who knows how many Americans in Iraq.

Well, the hellfire would have had to be on the orders of CIC Joseph Biden, or perhaps his old lady, as it were, or whoever the actual shot caller in the Biden-Harris was at the time. So it doesn’t much surprise me that there was no action taken on behalf of Donald Johnson Trump.

The CIA overthrew their democratically elected leader back in the 50s. They had reason to be upset. Since I know none of you have any reading comprehension skills, no I'm not saying they deserve their revenge. I'm just saying they have legit reason to be upset.

They shouldn't have shite on their legal agreements with Great Britain. Also, that was something that was spearheaded by British intelligence, not the CIA. The Brits offered to renegotiate their contracts, but the Iranians refused, fricking the Brits over completely.

The CIA was involved. The Brits haven't tried to invade since. The CIA also backed Iraq in their war with Iran in the 80s. Keep sucking that deep state dick though.
