If this isn’t proof that Trumps entire political career is a personal vendetta against anyone he feels has slighted him, I don’t know what is.

Let’s work to oust one of the most conservative governors in the country.

Clown world.

There is no question a Trump endorsement of Gaetz will catapult him to a win in the 2026 Florida Governor's race and from all indications here Gaetz has his endorsement.

This is so funny. Might be a worse endorsement than Oz and Herschel, which i thought was impossible.

Seems like an absolutely fantastic way to ensure that a Democrat wins that race.

Trump has a 95% endorsement win rate.

What’s his rate in competitive districts?

No, I’m not impressed that his staff gives him long lists of safe state legislators and members of congress to endorse on their way to 30 point landslides.

Would rather have Gaetz in the Congress.

Just as we all agreed it was best to keep Desantis in the governorship.....things have changed.

As with his 2022 endorsements, the Trump zealots will turn out for his unelectable candidates & hand the general election over to the dems

I have no personal issue with Gaetz. But it seems like a pretty big risk for minimal/no gain if there are other conservative candidates who can carry on the work of the most conservative politician America has seen in a couple of decades.

I don't know that Gaetz would undo that - I don't think he would. But putting a polarizing figure up and potentially losing the state to a Democrat - and in the process losing the biggest conservative success story in a major state in decades - would be catastrophic. Especially if the only real advantage of this plan is to get "Trump's guy" in place.

We did? Gumbobro didn't, and I know he has company.

Gaetz hasn't, and won't, and he's best suited to congress. We need people in congress that will throw hand grenades and say what half of us are thinking, and he's in a safe district and can do that.

But that's not what a governor does. Absolutely nothing about him says "chief executive that's going to get shite done".

Its far more likely all it would do is erode the advantage DeSantis has delivered for the R's.

Gaetz is not governor material.
