And once it's there, we can talk about WFH and accommodating the work-life needs of good federal employees IMO.
Just like in the private sector, if you can manage WFH employees, you will ultimately have more profits due to eliminating the need for commercial real estate.

Don't bring logic into this thread. The people bitching about WFH are the same ones who tell cops "I pay your salary"

How’s this going to play out with that deal being signed? The article I read yesterday on it, from a left wing side, made it sound like Trump couldn’t do anything about it.

I doubt he can.
The AFGE is stupid powerful. That behemoth needs dismantled.

Less than 3% of jobs in the market even offer hybrid schedules to date. I am not a fan of a hybrid or work from home schedule. I think there is a loss of congruency and synergy within the work culture and dynamic as a result of "absence". Particularly within the C-suite level.
Personally, my home is my refuge and not a space for the energy that is derived from work.

That's the issue with federal employees; you can't get rid of them. Certainly not like you can in the private sector.

Also the percentage of gov employees is actually smaller than it was in 1970 relative to population and has remained steady.
It's not the employees. It's the outrageous budgets that Congress oversees. They have a spending problem. Getting rid of employees will not change that.
The spending under Trump last time was just as bad. They are making you take your eye off the ball.

Most work from home telework jobs require at least 2 days a pay period in the office; unless a reasonable accommodation if could be permanent.

Yeah, I know.
I thought we were talking about government employees working from home.

This is a bigger issue than WFH. If you have useless workers WFH, they will be just as useless in an office. And they will cost more.

My counter to this is that everyone on here is saying these are "cake jobs". If the job is really as good as people think then going back in will not make these people quit. It has to be one or the other.
Whether they are cake or not is irrelevant. Many of them are unnecessary and thus need to be eliminated. This will hopefully cause many of them to quit or be fired.

See how reports. Those that do not report, simply do not fire them, eliminate the position they occupy, give severance and say bye.

Why are you always hating people on X who have a significant following? Your name "LegendInMyMind" is perfect for you. A nobody criticizing someone that has 221k followers.

Because, John, all they do is rip off people with actual sources and retards like you eat it up. You're too stupid to see a problem with that, though, boy.
He's a "body builder" and "political commentator" who does absolutely nothing. He doesn't even provide "commentary", you dolt!

Sure it is, but it’s still a big part of WFH. I was responding to a post about managing employees. If you have a marginal employee, is he easier to manage when he’s at home or when he’s down the hall?

Worth on life does not equate to number of followers. Exhibit A, the Kardashians. You've got some growing up to do.
Also, mist of us realize they post BS to get views. They are not legit sources. They just want the money.
It will make sense to you someday.

Like the Charlie Kirk fan account that many here have been fooled by?

I don't even follow this guy. But you don't get 221k followers without producing content people like. So why do you care so much? It just comes off as you being a jealous prick.

For the love of all that is good and kind, John, PLEASE go be stupid somewhere else.
