I’d rather Desantis be the nominee but it’s a smart move by Trump. It makes no sense for him to debate. We know his stance on everything. He’s going to continue building the wall, get us out of the failing Ukraine war, elect conservative justices, and put the United States first ahead of globalism.

Showing up doesn’t help him. It gives Fox and company a chance to attack him endlessly.

There will be approximately 12-13 debates. How many of them will Trump be too scared to show up for?

People will tune the debates out if Trump isn’t there.

He should demand the GOP sign his pledge when he wins the nomination.

Or get us even more involved "like no one has ever seen"(his words).

I hate how we keep having to repeat this. This isn't about Trump. This is about the American people. It's MAGA not MTGA.

and those people are fricked in the head. Even if you're already solidly voting trump, you should at least see what the other candidates have to say.

This goes back to my previous post.....Trump has hijacked MAGA.

If he can win.

He'll also spend like a drunken sailor, produce another blue wave in 2026 and if we have another school shooting he'll probably go after assault rifles if the public feels are strong enough. You listed the good (I may disagree on his protectionism), but there's bad that will come with it.

Well it’s definitely not his pledge.

Most people know enough.

You have talked yourself into believing that everyone is starting from zero at the debates. That was a massive miscalculation on your part. It was easy to believe because it's something you want to be true.

Any logical, rational, critical thinker knows that by now, the voting base has a real good idea of who everyone is. That's why the numbers have been shifting. People actually started with the idea that they liked Desantis...and over the months have decided differently.

Most have already dismissed Haley, Pence, and Christie.

Add in the fact that Trump is clearly the guy people most would want to see, it's just not going to get ratings.

People don't want to watch a JV game, dude.

the massive miscalculation on your part is your assumption about what I've done.

Show me any post that alludes to such a thing. I'll gladly keep hitting F5 every few minutes to wait for you.

This is what's important to the cultists. It's the only think they bring up

Dude, Desantis supporters will also not pay as much attention for the same reasons. NOBODY wants to watch a JV game.

And are you saying Biden is a better debater than the entire Republican field?

Well Biden is 1-0 vs Trump so looks like it.

China did pretty good under Trump especially his last year in office
