Only 50% of US citizens owns a passport.
So that number alone indicates that a passport cannot be the criteria.
Numbers on how many US citizens do not have access to their birth certificate are less reliable. But you can estimate that there is a portion that would have trouble with that.
There will be US citizens with a valid right to vote that have a DL but neither of those other 2 documents.

If they are too stupid to figure out how to obtain a birth certificate, (which you need to obtain a DL in many states), then maybe they don't have the mental capacity to make informed decisions on our political leaders. The reason DL's won't meet it anymore is because states like CA were handing them out like candy under Potatohead. But you know that already.

Here’s just a few things a certified copy of a birth certificate has long already oftentimes been needed for nowadays:
Driver’s license
Social Security card
Registration for school
Perhaps these hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) of helpless people you are so concerned for should start voting for people who can help them on obtaining these basic fundamental things to have access to because it sure sounds like the Democrats have been lacking in that area.
This country is almost without peer in the world when it comes to any number of advancements but simply being able to prove one possesses the legal right to cast a vote in this country’s national elections….,that’s just a bridge too far.
There’s one underlying fundamental reason you don’t want people to have to prove who they are to vote in this country and we know why that really is.

He should tell Thune that if he keeps fighting it, he will publicly declare war on him until he not loses his majority spot, he loses his senate seat.
