Springsteen says something. Trump responds. That is free speech sorting itself out. You seem to think that free speech means the democrats can say whatever they want while Republicans just have to take it.
POTUS is way above random comments pertaining to such stupidity. Of course he's free to say whatever he wants.

Are we pretending Springsteen and his ilk are NOT "doing it over here"?

No, but saying what he said in a public forum in the U.S. will get lots of pushback. Not everyone is going to be cool with that. Most will be against it.

A bit late for such wishes. Trump is Trump if you haven't noticed.

One of the reasons people like Trump is he never takes crap off anyone, because he is a counter puncher. He's always been that way.

Completely unnecessary to give a piece of shite like Springsteen this type of attention. You got bigger shite to deal with.

Bruce had lots of great music through Tunnel of Love. The period from Born to Run through the River was incredible material.

A big part of this is a 75 YO rocker desperately trying to stay in the headlines and get fawned over by the music press.

agree 100%. born to run is a masterpiece, with nebraska a close second imo

Bruce had a couple of good songs in the 80's. I don't know why that makes him the "boss". And, just because he has long concerts and clenches his face when he sings, doesn't make him a "must see".

The media made Bruce.

Hell, the Bangles and Debbie Gibson had better music than Bruce in the 80's.

he got the name when he and his band were a bunch of nobodies. he served as the manager, booking agent, money handler, etc. it stuck

So, just like most band leaders had to do when they were just starting. Got it.

I'm all for bashing the liberal fig, Springsteen - but unless you were a teenage girl in the '80's, this is the sort of line in a post the edit feature was made for.

Good for him. That virtue-signaling 2-bit phony needs to be called out.

That’s like an early 2010s Trump rant

Yeah, I was trying to be funny.

Teenage boy in the 80's, but if "Born in the USA" wasn't a patriotic song, it wouldn't have hit the top 40.

What else did Bruce do? "I'm on fire"? "Dancing in the Dark"? "Glory Days' was the only one I liked at the time. "Born to Run" was in the 70's.

Didn't care for anything else he did.
