The threat is implied. You're being invaded by an adversary that we're helping you hold off with military aid (and an adversary, btw that worked to get me elected). You've already stopped cooperating with the Mueller investigation to keep aid going. If I say what I want 8 times how much doubt is there?

This story started with a report that he made a promise to a foreign leader.

Same article referenced in OP says the "people familiar with the matter" who are talking about it also say there's no belief that Trump mentioned any quid pro quo.

Clearly it is if you have an R behind your name and the target of the investigation has a D behind his.

We are thru the looking glass, people.

Oh, of course it is.

Just like when your side says white supremacy, racism, xenophobia, etc. are nuanced and so deeply rooted in society that you could be a nazi and not even know it.

There's a reason why you people resort to these "we know it's there but we can't prove it with concrete evidence" tactics.

It's a little out of the Clinton-cash playbook. Republican donors fund oppo research, pass it to NYT for credulous publication, pressure DOJ for investigation, paint opponent as corrupt.

And there's a reason mobsters make implicit rather than explicit threats, right?

I know you think your emotions and "gut feelings" are proof, but I'm sorry to inform you that they aren't. I'm sure you'll need some time to process that.

This is literally what the Clinton Campaign did with Steele, the dossier, etc.

Come on, bruh

What's the chance that Biden's son actually did anything wrong?

Trump said people were soaked at the rally and it wasn't even raining

They were soaked from sweat because they were standing in 90 degree heat

Nah man, he lied about it raining

He never said it rained

Come on, man, we all know what he meant. He meant it was raining even though he never said it. He just like to lie, man.

No, of course. Trump has a earnest and abiding commitment to rooting out Ukrainian corruption.

We have degenerated as a society and form of government when it is OK by so many to have our president extort a foreign president to investigate a political rival’s family. This is not right nor American, and disgraceful for any sitting president to do this. Sad times for “ the last best hope for democracy and freedom” in the world.

They know this.

What you have to understand with these sociopaths on the left is that they don't care.

At the end of the day, the goal is to have separate rules and laws for them. If you think different politically, you will be put in a box with your own set of rules that actually have "consequences", another word foreign to these filth.

If you knew what people like Doc and DC09 would do to their fellow Americans simply because they disagree politically, it would scare the shite out of you.

That's some silly stuff, baw.

If we're going to justify all this anyway, can we just see the whistleblower complaint?

This is true as much as I hate to admit it. The whole of our society has degenerated and not just our President. We in trouble.
