This is about an hour from where I live. Kind of curious he is visiting somewhat rural GA two days before election.

He needs to be living in PA.

If Trump is really at risk of losing Georgia then the election is over. And he knows that. He wouldn’t be wasting time there. This rally has other reasons behind it.

I live in Floyd County where Rome is located.

The rally isn't official yet according to the local paper and government folks I know. All Trump has done is made preliminary arrangements to fly in here.

I would expect his visit is for Loeffler and Perdue more than himself in GA. We're the only state with both Senate seats in play this cycle.

A New York Times/Siena College poll published Tuesday — two weeks out from the state’s pair of Senate elections — shows that 43 percent of likely voters support incumbent Republican Sen. David Perdue, and another 43 percent support Democrat Jon Ossoff.

I’ve often thought about moving to the NW GA. Looked at some places in Dade and Walker before

Also consider Catoosa. More convenient to Chattanooga restaurants. Lots of great hiking and outdoor stuff in this part of GA.

Probably has more to do with the Senate races than anything else.

Also one of the few “rural” locations with that size runway. My guess is it just worked logistically. He will get a yuge crowd there.

At this point, Trump is just running up the score.

Yep. He's gonna get the NE Alabama and South Tennessee(Chattanooga) crowd on top of NW Georgia.

For someone earlier, Dade County is gorgeous! Cloudland Canyon is remarkable!

Is this official? I’m from Rome and local govt says it can’t confirm. Police say they haven’t been notified either. I would think those two would know if the president was coming but that’s just me. Don’t know why he’d come to Rome. Floyd County only has around 100k in pop. and Rome has around 40k. It’s firmly a red county. Maybe because of the ease of access like other posters mentioned to Tenn and Bama. Very odd if true.
