Doesn't the president of the United States have a way to communicate with Russia other than social media?

I would bet Putin already got a heads up about how Trump was feeling over Putin's ramped up attacks against civilian targets in Ukraine. Trump put that social media comment out for the American people.

Ukraine has bigger problems. When Rob Lee a pro Ukrainian account and the Kyiv Independent are reporting on Ukrainian Citizens fighting back against Zelensky’s thugs you know it is becoming a problem

That is exhibit A on why Ukraine would be better off as a state of Russia.

By this point it is fairly obvious what is going to happen, and Trump seems to be offering Putin a last chance at preventing it.

Trump is going to double down on support for Ukraine, and there will be a big escalation, not only in support for Ukraine, but in tactics that Ukraine is permitted to employ. Russia will face hell this summer in the hopes that Putin will crack and come to the table.

The only thing Putin understands is strength. He is about to experience it. He should come to the table ASAP and settle the matter.

I may choke myself to death eating so much crow if this is what Trump does.

And gladly would as it’s the right move for America

At this point without a peace deal being reached soon this could turn into a no win situation for Ukraine and Russia. With continued US support (which now seems like that is going to happen) Ukraine could potentially drag this out for years
that's really sad just think of all the unnecessary deaths on both sides dragging his out for the sake of what? Not a single good reason to carr. Defending Zelensky is the only option.

I highly doubt that. Trump was clueless about Ukraine attacking Moscow with Hundreds of Drones from May 20-22 and also had no idea about the alleged attack on Putin’s Helicopter. I guarantee they have not talked since their last phone call which was before these incidents.

Nailed it. Trump does or doesn't say nice things about Putin, it's still "collusion", either way.

Just like Tapper writing a book about Biden's dementia and cover up of cancer ... designed to set Trump up as being too old for office.

Y’all really hang on to when people say they are going to start on things on Day 1 of a 4 year project. It’s amazing to see how fricking stupid you people are when it comes to this

After A&M had another embarrassing season, I really hope the head coach didn’t tell the A&M fanbase that on Day One he was going to fix the Offensive Line

Orange should not be rage Truthing and melting to the media over Vlad. Something has changed. I think he realizes he can’t solve this problem now.

Maybe Putin could respond with a missile attack on Germany. What then? Those pussies would fold in a heartbeat.

Yes, I think he really thought it a deal over land and he's used to that and it's in his comfort zone. But it's really about sovereignty. Ukraine thinks it has a right to exist and Russia doesn't. Oblasts and minerals aren't going to settle that.

Because it’s over first-order principles and therefore can’t be solved by rote transactionalism.

The problem is simple to solve. Tell Zelensky he has to recognize the 4 oblast that he already lost 80% or more of and if he doesn't we remove all aid and weapons. It really doesn't get anymore simpler than that. That was the plan before but after Trump played golf with Lindsey Graham, Trey Gowdy, and the President of Finland he started to change his rhetoric. Maybe Trump got a hell of a deal on those Icebreakers

The Very Next Day after this Golf Outing he told NBC News he was "pissed off at Putin" Everyone can see what is going on here
