I assume that would have been the job of people within Bush and Obama admins. It's not exactly research as it is intel.

The list, according to FBN, is dating back to 9/11 and is not complete due to an intelligence issue.... yet still several pages long.

According to them, there are more, but due to intelligence issues, the sealed info... they did not get, but were made aware of

The proper response would be a handful of cases that mostly (if not all) occurred between 5 and 10 years ago. No real emergency, and only 2 countries are mentioned. In the case of 3 of the guys from Somalia (same case) the group they were funding was declared a terrorist organization a month before tsent they sent the money in 2008.
