He appears to suck at campaigning
Really, any candidate like Brooks is going to suck at campaigning. Campaigns require money, money requires promises, promises require compromises. The more money, the more compromises. Mo is known well as a stubborn dick and far from lobby friendly. Most of the campaign firepower he's had in this election has been from third party PACs...and those who are truly conservative are few and far between and not flush with money.
This same thing happened in the last Senate election. Trump backed Luther Strange in that election, who was pretty much the same critter as Britt...except there was a lot of stink surrounding the circumstances of his temporary appointment by Bentley. Trump's judgement regarding endorsements is either severely lacking or his "brand" is more important to him then what he purports to represent. Knowing Trump, I'd bank on the latter. He's putting the knives into his own back, politically.

Mo Brooks himself is not so much disliked by the citizens, he is disliked by the big money donors because he doesn't play their games by their rules.
Therefore he is an easy target for the PACs to pour money into negative advertising against him.

Why is Brooks disliked in bama?
He's not. He just does not have the money to advertise like the other candidates. He is a terrible campaigner.

I guess you are one of those in Georgia that stayed home and gave us the Govt we got.
"The never Trumpers won. Yall have exactly the government you wanted. Everything is going great right?"

I'm with you on ALL points made.
"Britt is a Rino Chamber of Commerce fraud. Bought and paid for. Mitch McConnell, Paul Ryan, Shelby type.
Vote for Mo.
DeSantis2024"

Yes, ... I think Club for Growth is doing those. But, voters in Alabama are not the smartest... just look at the Governor.
"Are they showing ads to that effect? "

But I digress ... There is only ONE sure conservative in the Alabama Senate race and that is MO BROOKS.
Mo Brooks did it to himself when he decided it wasn't important to get to the bottom of the election fraud in 2020.
Republicans who can't understand that election integrity is priority #1 simply can't be supported.

Because the big $$$ will not fund him. You cannot campaign without funding. He is truly conservative and doesn't believe in the pay to play lobbyist BS.
See my post above.

If Trump had stayed out/ Doug Jones never wins
This is correct only in the sense that the 2020 Presidential wouldn’t have been rigged if Trump was not the candidate. Just as the reigning bipartisan political establishment stole the election from Trump, they used every weapon in their arsenal to place Doug Jones in the Senate.
What is often left out of the Roy Moore imbroglio is that the only reason that Moore emerged as an outsider candidate is because of the corrupt bargain made between Robert Bentley, Luther Strange and Mitch McConnell. As the Alabama AG, Luther Strange agreed to shut down an investigation into the corruption of Governor Bentley’s administration in exchange for an appointment to the Senate to fill Jeff Session’s vacant seat.
Luther Strange was Mitch McConnell’s — and the reigning establishment’s — preferred candidate. Republican primary voters, fed up with this corrupt horse trading, voted for Moore as a form of retribution against this back-room deal; it was then that the political and media establishment worked in concert to sabotage Moore’s election chances.
Now, I hold no special brief for Roy Moore and I never once voted for the man. Yet Roy Moore — same as Trump — was destroyed solely because he posed a threat to the hegemony of the UniParty®.

You’re right. I’m sure you know more than trump
It's just that Trump isn't a conservative. If he was why did he donate so much money to Hillary Clinton and other deep state dems?
Trump has one political philosophy and only one: What is best for Donald J Trump?

Yes, unlike Mitch McConnell, Mitt Romney, Kamala Harris or Joe Biden who are selfless public servants.
In what way is Trump different in that regard than any long serving Potomac swamp critter?
