As much as I want Peters out of jail, the President's pardon power applies ONLY to offenses AGAINST THE UNITED STATES.

We WANT Tina Peters pardoned. Unfortunately, because she was convicted on state charges, only the Governor of Colorado can pardon her.

Nonsense. Of course federal has jurisdiction to overturn state. It happens all the time. You're telling me a federal judge can overturn a state conviction but not the President?
