Assuming you favor one of these two to run for POTUS in 2024. Who would you prefer win the nomination?

There's part of me that would like Trump to run again and win simply for vindication, but the truth is I think it would be his first term 2.0. He'd be bucked at every turn, and he'd be the issue literally every day.

all in all, I'd prefer Desantis.

That said, I hope they make a deal that if one runs the other sits out, because they'll damage each other in primaries for no reason.

I'll vote for which ever is the nominee.

I'd put money on DeSantis sitting out if Trump runs just to avoid damaging each other.

I'd rather Trump sit out. He's already old and while his policies were excellent for the most part, they were overshadowed by his caustic personality.

Desantis will be literally Hitler if he runs. It will be the same as they treated Trump.

That's exactly what will happen. So it's not worth fighting and getting worked up over. I'm fine with either one.

I would be happy with either, but considering the shitshow of the last year (and the next three) a bull in a China shop is needed.

DeSantis can be the soothing balm after.

DeSantis is Trump politically, but without the character flaws.

I’m sorry, but Trump not firing Fauci and Milley for me alone is a dealbreaker with him vs DeSantis. DeSantis would have thrown those frickers out.

Love me some MAGA but I’m cool with moving on to another chapter in the America First saga.

However, if Trump is the nominee he gets my vote and support.

I'll choose the proven fighter, at this point. The one that would be in only his first year, of his second term, right now. After a massive, landslide victory by the lawful citizens of this country.

I upvote both.

This ^^^^ is my issue with Trump also. Dude was still allowing Swamp scum to frick him over 4 years into his presidency when he had the power to terminate many of the thorns in his side.

My moneys on DeSantis. I love some Trump but his age as well as him not firing Dr Frauduci swings me to Florida!

So if Trump wins the nomination, you’ll vote for the Democrat nominee? If you vote Libertarian or sit it out you might as well vote Democrat.

I downvoted. But I will happily vote for Trump if he gets the nomination. Which he will if he runs. I’d rather not see or listen to Ron and Don rip into each other during the primary season. I prefer to see Trump in a kingmaker roll. I think we can get a Trump clone policy wise with Ron but without the self inflicted and media created wounds that were used to take down his presidency. Ron shouldn’t have that problem. The media will still do what they do but the opportunities won’t be as often. There will still be the rinos to deal with but hopefully their influence is minimized during the upcoming midterms and in 2024.
