I don't think they should receive "bail out" money if they fail. But they also shouldn't be handicapped to try to make sure they fail.

I haven't read this thread, but I'll make this prediction. Mamdani won't make it thru his 1st term. You heard it here first.

The likelihood his admin commits civil rights violations when it comes to things like dispersing resources is also all but guaranteed
This is when having the White House pays off. It’s not like they’ll need to fabricate any evidence
But I think it’s in everyone’s interest for Mamdani to build his resume as a failure first, not at his reputational highest (now). Then socialist nonsense can be quashed for all time
