You can keep saying it like the fake news, but he has not been absent.

Things he has done:
1. He got the DOJ involved on the Floyd issue.
2. He empathized with those upset about the death of Floyd in police custody, spoke to unity, and respecting people’s ability to peacefully protest.
3. He called out the idiot Mayor for not doing his job.
4. He has supported providing additional needed support of law enforcement to the local governments.
5. He called out ANTIFA through Barr.
6. He spoke to the issue in a public address during the recent NASA launch.

Also the President is not totally like a CEO because he can’t just fire his middle management (local officials) and replace them.

He is giving one tomorrow, but it won't do shite dude.

Dude....you are completely excusing the feckless mayors and govs who ACTUALLY HAVE POWERS related to law enforcement decisions.

It will do shite, it will show the nation we still have a president. I’m not expecting him to start throwing out EO's or taking over police departments or whatever else you’re imagining, I’m expecting him to address the nation while we are experiencing a very severe crisis. It’s amazing how much y’all excuse things, he’s a person and a politician. He’s not a religious figure, why are you so attached to running defense for him? It’s bizarre.

A lot of the powers to deal with these issues rest with state governments. I don’t know the exact bounds of his power, but I think there will be a lot of deference to state governments.

Well, I mean, two days ago he said if they loot, we shoot. The acolytes cheered.

The looting intensified. Nothing happened. The acolytes cheered louder.

Agreed, let’s do that too. You’re running defense for Trumps complete lack of leadership while the country burns though, why?

Don't try to spin this like I'm the problem here. Put the blame where it belongs. Democrat governors in democrat states are letting democrats run loose in the street destroying shite.

Both sides are at fault. And it’s ridiculous Trump hasn’t come out and spoken out about any of this outside of a few tweets

His covid19 national address was met with scorn that it wasn't strong enough.

Oh ok because you’re last post you said he was a CEO so I went with it but now he’s not

He seems like he’s been pretty absent to me other than his bullets start shooting tweet (wait he doesn’t have the power to order that, is the president confused?)

What are you laughing at - you said he hasn’t said anything - it was one of the best speeches I’ve heard a president give. He can’t help that the media is in on all of this. Thankfully the American people aren’t idiots and can see his greatness

You mean the protestors AND Antifa? I was hoping to cut the protestors some slack, but I guess they were unduly influenced by Antifa.

Let me make something abundantly clear:

mayors across the country are completely dropping the ball. Telling NG and cops to stand down, not enforcing curfew, etc, and you guys are mad that the president isn't giving a substanceless, meaningless boilerplate speech not even written by him.

You frickers need to hold local and state officials accountable, people WHO HAVE THE POWER TO ENFORCE THINGS.

A storeowner doesn't want feelgood speeches, he wants the police to do their job.

And yet he hasn't ordered a violent suppression of these riots.

But you still believe that his tweet meant that "Since you're looting, I'm going to order all of you to be shot."

When employees of corporations start burning down cities... you'll have a point. Until then this is a stupid comparison.

What the f*ck makes you think people willing to burn and loot their own cities will listen to a Trump speech and say "oh, Ok. He's right. We'll return to our fine upstanding lifestyles."

Here's a clue. Trump doesn't have a magic wand. Adn the only people responsibel for these looters and rioters violence are the... looters and rioters.

Stop trying to transfer blame like a 4 year old. Do better.
