People voted for fiscal restraint. Not increasing the federal budget versus Biden’s bullshite (to say nothing of current FedGov spending levels versus 2019).

Well since you are being petty I never said deficit
We even now?
We even now?

Has Massie put out anything? I find it hard to believe that Trump wouldn't listen
In another thread, I posted 5 bills Massie brought to committee that never made it out to the floor to vote. One being term limits. Truth is you would vote yes to 95% of the bills he has introduced, and a good chance your elected representative has voted no to all of them

Hopefully we all will after it's said and done and we can judge from there.
He signed that CR bill. He's never vetoed anything. He absolutely fricking loves piling debt onto us all. I have no idea what it's going to take for you and others to realize this.
It's ok to criticize someone you voted for, bud. I voted for him 3 times, but never let up talking about how much of a disgrace he is when it comes to spending.

Maybe. Haven't seen them. Never said he hasn't introduced. I was legit asking if he had. Haven't seen anything in the news and I'm on the is s board frequently and haven't seen anything here either. Must have missed your thread. Link to your thread?

So what's your point?

Your original response was a popcorn emoji to a post saying "show me where Trump has cut spending on the deficit". If you hadn't read it wrong and replied, we both wouldn't have wasted time on this
But keep on keeping on man

Did massie not vote yay on a CR as well? I thought I saw that mentioned earlier. True or no?

So what's the story on this?

So you are contending that the deficit in the 2025 budget will be smaller than the deficit in the 2024 budget. Correct?
Posted on 5/20/25 at 2:37 pm to PaperTiger
He voted no on it. Trump and nearly everyone in here went apeshit on Massie because of it.

He does understand that “not cutting federal spending” is “not cutting federal spending.”
So he is ahead of you.
The bill does cut federal spending. It just also cuts taxes.
If this bill doesn't pass, good luck waiting around for another president who is willing to cut entitlements.

There was no mention of the deficit.

Um no. I didn't post that. That was an incorrect assumption that road gator made on a comment I made. $2 trillion additional, annually increase is what I see.
I said trump has a small history of cutting spending. Gave 2 examples. It was more to nobody knows what anybody is doing behind closed doors and if they are trying to find ways to increase or decrease.

"cut" or "reduce the rate of spending"?
Calling a reduction in the rate of spending a "cut" is like telling a fat person who gained less weight this year than last year that they are "losing weight".

Um no. I didn't post that.
So Trump is not decreasing deficit spending. Just like LSURussian implied.
Now say something stupid.
