No, it's not meaningful in comparison to what should have been passed, and that's not disrespectful to anyone. FFS - no rational person would put space force on the same level as legit immigration reform (including legislation to pave the way to deport 20 million illegals) or legislation that dramatically right-sizes fedgov.

Trump cut Jerusalem embassy cost from. $1 bullion to $20 million.
Cut Boeing contract on AF1 and AF2 contact by $1.4 billion.

"That's great, dear. How did you do that?"
"I waited until a dress I've been wanting went on sale. It was marked down from $400 to just $300..."
"The way I look at that is you didn't save us $100. You COST us $300!"

Everybody on this board says Trump just spends spends spends. Nobody has a real clue what Trump is saying behind closed doors.
i have you 2 examples where Trump cut spending where he could, that goes to his character. .he's not a fiscal hawk. But you have no idea on what he's actually doing or saying. Hopefully we all will after it's said and done and we can judge from there.
Congress holds the purse. Congress HAS to put a better bill together. Trump can't do that.. But let's blame Trump with no idea of what's really going on

It is sad. Republicans as a collective cant put a meaningful bill together, whether it be hold outs, caucuses, etc, for whatever reason.. Maybe they should try harder.
