Trump makes China bend the knee

This stupid no experienced businessman broke China in 3 years when US politicians couldn’t in 70 years. The deal backs off on some of the tariffs. China’s economy was crumbling and they begged for mercy. But tariffs don’t work. They broke China and the consumer didn’t feel one iota of them.

Trump, above anything else at all, wants to WIN.
And since he is our glorious POTUS we will as well. There is no leaving meat on the bone for “saving face”, Trump eats what he can, then takes the leftovers because you want them.

It took a learning curve of about 8-12 months after the inauguration for Trump to get the hang of things.
Unfortunately for us is that is when RIINOs and liberals took advantage of the inexperienced chaos of the new Trump Admin. Even Comey said himself that he got away with things he would not under a normal administration.

His second term is going to be his defining moment. Once he makes these Dem's look like fools and makes them bend the knee they will have no choice but to support him. That or lose their jobs.

If what I am reading is right this is going down almost exactly as I predicted.
I have said Trump would do whatever it took to avoid the taxes proposed in December since they would hit finished consumer goods and would be easily identifiable.
I have been saying this is about business in China and clearly it is. It is about US companies and big banks investing in China. Buy Citi, JPM, GS and others as they will profit immensely in China.
I have said about the only thing new would be selling China is perhaps some more ag goods and that appears true.
Some of the posters here have made WILD claims about this trade war being an alternative to war or this being about getting Chinese goods out of the US, or this being about all these jobs coming back to American and on and on. NONE of those things are true.
Many of you think the Chinese economy is literally crashing. You think there is this massive thirties style depression happening in China. That simply is not true.
Many of you think the Chinese act in one accord--that the communist party is of one mind. It is not. Liu He favors free market reforms yet he is in the communist politburo. He wanted the profits for Chinese companies that come with IP protection. He wanted more access to US banks that this deal will give.
Many of you fail to grasp that these IP protections and financial changes are good for China and this entire process has been better for China than the US.
Look Trump started this mess and whatever he agrees to will not have much impact on the US economy. His tariffs have been hurtful to the stock market and to many businesses in the US.
I am happy you Trumpkins think this is something huge and that Trump appears to be ready to lower tariffs. Maybe you can keep his ego inflated and the entire trade war will be gone soon.
Most telling to me in the last month or so is that Kushner is the most powerful man in the Trump administration. Navarro has been fighting with Mnuchin and Kudlow this entire year. He has sabotaged deals and is lightweight failed democrat politician. Trump put Kushner on the Chinese trade war a few weeks ago and now it appears we have a deal. Ross screwed up the USMCA by trying to protect his steel friend and forced ratification to depend on Pelosi when the republican congress a year ago could have been ratified it. Kushner saved that deal. (USMCA is not significantly different on most issues than NAFTA BTW.)
So those of you calling me out tonight do not know what you are talking about and you have not a single clue what the trade war has been about nor what the goals of the trade war are. Most of you have not even read the 301 investigation that allows the President to have this war---hardly any of the talking heads have read it either.
At the end of the day Trump tariffed American citizens buying from China to benefit American companies and banks investing in China. You guys were for it and I was not.
