Still better than the other choice. At least the border is tighter, tax cuts will eventually be made permanent and some of the illegals are getting the boot. C-

Give me a valid risk assessment tool that includes employment and I’ll consider saving non-violent offenders for last .

I don’t. Let them remain illegal and working here for now. No citizenship, no amnesty. Their illegal status can be used against them if there is any suspicion of them being less than good residents. Just prioritize the problems

Yea let them stay and keep taking resources despite not contributing while suppressing wages and contributing to the housing shortage

Your view is shortsighted, thinking the problem with illegals are just the "bad" ones

ETA: They also get counted in census data and shape Congressional seats

Yeah, making an obviously intelligent and logical decision to let farm workers stay will piss off a lot off non thinkers.

We have a work visa program for farmers to utilize for farm workers. There is no need to make exceptions to illegals when we already have a way to handle the issue legally.

Not happy about it.

They would likely be the last that would be going after, but still go after it.

Yep. Voted for all to be gone, to include H1B visas and also to put a halt on green cards and slow the pathway to citizenship. Importing people from other countries is killing this country.

Mad at him for the bait and switch on this as well as the no tax on tops/overtime being a limited tax credit.

Ignorant comment.

I supported Trump 100%, a huge portion of that support was because of illegal invasion. Even if backing off 50% if is a huge letdown to me.

These people don't share our values and moves us to the left at faster pace.

Not happy about it. This is a slap in all his supporter's faces. He's going to create a powder keg with this decision.

I’m in favor of the move. Focus the criminals and the worst of the bunch. One bite at a time.

Focus on disenfranchising the rest of the illegal population until we can adequately deal with them. No votes, no health care, no housing, no subsidies.

BDR fought against that bill in Florida that would have allowed this.

You sound like you're just immigration first. Nothing wrong with that. I want government spending taken care of first. That's my main reason for voting for Trump. I feel that if you don't get the spending right, you won't be able to be effective in anything.
