There’s no guarantee that the RINO republicans will play along. Chances senators like Rand Paul and Bill Cassidy will side with democrats and block the agenda. They hate Trump.
Then when the Democrats take the majority they will wreak havoc.

This. If we let them gum up the works now the next D president regardless of who holds congress will undo all of Trumps progress via EO like Biden did.
Nuclear option and codify it all. A Dem president can happen easily, dems getting all 3 branches to undo it all via legislation cannot happen as easily.

The next time the Democrats control the White House, the Senate, and the House, they ABSOLUTELY WILL end the filibuster whether or not we do it, now.
When they do, they will use it to grant DC and Puerto Rico statehood, elect 4 new Democrat Senators, stack the SCOTUS, and Republicans will NEVER win a majority, ever again.
They're going to do it, anyway. Anyone who doesn't think so is fooling themselves.
We may as well go ahead and do it.

I know that. I wasn't saying that they need the House and White House in order to kill the filibuster. I understand that it is a Senate rule and can be killed by a majority in the Senate, itself.
But, it would be useless to kill the filibuster unless they also controlled the White House and the House in order to pass legislation. They won't kill it unless they control all 3. But, if they ever control all 3, they absolutely will kill the filibuster.
