I agree. I'm also suspicious of why this didn't come out sooner if true.
BUT, the Administration's response doesn't seem to be that it didn't happen....but that it wasn't illegal. That excuse is going down in flames IF the video is published and it shows what MSDNC says it does.

This is fake news by msmbc - he had a consulting firm. This was a deposit - but it was a setup to take him down when Trump lost. It’s a bs - he didn’t nothing illegal also the same authors of the story of the same people who wrote about Russia gate all the time

He was a private citizen at the time. Was he a lobbyist? I don’t know. But if he didn’t act on any of this when he got to the government then they have nothing.

It was the Biden DOJ that started the investigation before Trump was elected. I would have to learn more but it sounds like the DOJ was trying to entrap him. If that is what the Trump DOJ found then they were right to dismiss the case.

I would think that receiving a bag of cash would be very helpful but nobody does that except maybe a bank robber running and you would get the heat instead, or you mistaken as a drug dealer. That said this would have been played as Trump has bagman picking up cash as payoffs. This church mice would have heard the MSM talking heads screaming about it

It's the Lord's Day, so I am going to bow out now to prepare for worship, but I can't imagine how anything I said is deceitful or casts innuendo. Someone posted about Homan without posting the reporting.
I brought the actual reporting in to the discussion...which would seem to be relevant. It's a LEGAL matter. None of you who are inventing things about me graduated from law school, much less have any training in criminal law.

IF what MSNBC is reporting is true...AND Homan doesn’t have a defense (I hope he was a registered lobbyist for instance...although that wouldn't necessarily get him off the hook)...it would be a violation of 18 USC 371, Conspiracy to Defraud the United States.
