I doubted his strategy in appearing tonight. Felt it was unneeded negative exposure.

I stopped watching halfway through. The questions were ridiculous. It was set up and no way for him to come off positively. I was impressed with his ability to stay calm with these idiots.

ABC royally fricked up that 2nd to last question. They were planning on showing America that he was a cold, heartless bastard but they instead showed America that he is a caring, empathetic leader. It did not go the way they had planned.
Just that segment alone made it worthwhile for Trump to do this town hall and deal with all of the gotcha questions. It gave Trump a platform to show America a side of him that the fake news media don't show.

It's really astonishing I tell you. He can spin, twist, and say things vague enough that he's never pinned down to anything. He's a consumate showman as well and knowns when to attack and when to move on. He plays up but never commits. and when in doubt, lie and stonewall, wait the media out or even better throw different controllable chum into the water.
all the while everyone eats shite, dems eat shite because they really have no counter. Republicans are eatting this shite up clearly.
