Who is arguing it’s not a shithole country? Even Indians know that. That’s why they leave in droves.

Only due to sheer population size

Exactly what I was about to say. Same reason California has the world's 4th largest economy. Because of the population and sheer number of consumers there. Meanwile businesses and wealth is leaving the state in droves and quality of life has declined significantly for most people there. It's not nearly as bad as India but California overall is not nearly what it used to be.

Didnt say it was awesome and didn’t say it wasn’t trash infested. Didnt even say I like India.

Can you read or comprehend? Or you jump to conclusions about everything?

"Calls India a hellhole discussing birthright citizenship"

"Makes deals to flood our country with as many Indians as possible that aren't birthright citziens"

But by sheer facts they are profitable and have a large economy. If we were just going off GDP. Currently sits 6th.

I didn’t say it wasn’t a nice place lol

Flew out of Mumbai a handful of times, off the main runway is a tin, cardboard, and plywood shanty town. When you're taxing out the tower advises people and animals maybe on the runway. At night it's bizarro world .

India engages in child prostitution, no running water in large portions of the country, limited access to electricity in most rural areas, few sewage treatment plants, limited access to garbage service, animals and human carcasses are routinely dumped in rivers due to lack of burial sites, over 200 million Indians live essentially in shanty towns, largely eradicated diseases like tuberculosis and typhoid still occur frequently in India. You are the uninformed one per usual

I think this goes back to last month when Trump and the Prime Minister of India had a phone conversation about the Middle East and keeping the Straight of Hormuz open. They also talked about Elon with some reports saying Elon was on the call, but that has been denied by both.

Forget about Iran, Epstein files, ICE, and the US economy and look over here for a few hours or days. In the process piss off another country

It may not be the case, but he has been posting, saying, and doing things that is trying to get people’s attention off of Iran. He’s fired a cabinet member, fired a Navy Secretary, said Cuba’s next, India’s a hellhole, fight with the pope, fight with former Trump allies, posted about the media, late night talk show host, and the Supreme Court. All this and more in the past 5 days.

We will see what other off the wall stuff he says Saturday night at the correspondents dinner. It won’t be like dinners in the past when president’s get roasted and then the president roast people in the room. There will be no roasting of the president just him doing the roasting.

I think there are a considerable number of people from India who would agree.

My mother's best friend traveled all over the world. She said she would never return to India. Dead bodies all over the place.

Google AI says there are still dead bodies left all over the place in big cities.
Their caste system is still 100% alive and kicking.

It is a hellhole. Look at their water source in major cities. And yes, like most big countries they probably have areas with stunning beauty. But then you have the rest of the country which is not pleasant.

Any place where a woman is raped by a broom handle while 100 men cheer on, that is a hellhole.

"The occurrence of public sexual violence, bystander apathy, or cheering during sexual assaults in India is a complex issue driven by deeply rooted societal, cultural, and structural factors rather than a single cause. Observers, activists, and sociologists attribute these incidents to a combination of intense patriarchal structures, a "rape culture" that shames victims, and systemic failures in the justice system."

I would love to hear Usha Vance's thoughts regarding Trump's post.

Especially the part where he criticizes descendants of non-European immigrants for not integrating.

Well the guy did reference that famous case where the Supreme Court ruled and Jackson told them to enforce it.

Course I always thought it was Andrew Jackson, according to him it was Stonewall Jackson

Had some ACLU dork try to get me to sign some bullshite while I was in line for the beer festival last week.

“Do you support equal rights?”

Stopped. Turned his way and gave him dead silence. He didn’t know what to do next so he just turned the other way back toward the road.

My wife grabbed my arm in a way that said please don’t say anything.

Nerds.

I was married into that old money Mid-city elite in Memphis for a good while and the contempt they had for the Orange Mound area around the corner was what might call "very fascinating behavior"

If you know Memphis, you know what I say is true.

A Ukrainian biz friend sold a sugar mill and relocated it to India. Per him everyone in town had extremely low IQ from inbreeding and everyone had 12 fingers.
