I thought the context was some politicians were down playing the shot while also getting the booster

And it probably is. But think about how normal Americans think. Trump calls politicians "GUTLESS" because they won't admit to having the booster, which I don't understand if they took the first vaccination. But then MSM takes the narrative and spins it. "Trump calls out DeSantis" "calls him gutless". And now you get a fracture within the America First party.

DeSantis supports the vax but has made antibody treatments widely available and prohibited employers from requiring the vax to their employees. Whether he got vaxed or boosted is his personal business.

So many people proudly say they got the jab for humanity. In five years no one will admit to it. I will. Because I'm a dumb arse. Since the shot I drink more and watch Asian porn all the time. I smoke more and want to fight people wearing furry hats. True story

Smart move.

Dems want to parade around like the *vaccine is some sort of gift from heaven. Trump is reminding them that it would not have been available anywhere near as fast if it weren’t for him. Makes the left double think what they really are endorsing.

Trump is playing 3-D chess and some here still don’t get it.

The booster is just more of the same and it is all nearly useless against the Omicron strain sweeping the world now.

And I understand this, but it makes Trump out to say that anybody "NOT WILLING" to admit they have the booster is "GUTLESS". This is a BAD take.

Why can't he just say, "I am vaccinated and boosted and I encourage anyone that is high risk to do the same" and leave it at that?

You are right.

Trump can take a hike with that bullshite. He won’t even come out strongly against the mandates. So that shows you where he stands.

Agree! Whats trumps opinion on jan 6 detainees? I suspect a dog and pony show at this point. Every day there is a video of a senator grilling fauci, yet nothing ever actually happens.

What we are seeing is very early primaries. But even if Trump wasn't running he seems pissed his vax status took a hit and DeSantis is waffling.

It is a shame it is so divisive. We can all cite endless antivaxer stances when Trump was President that fell in love with the vax with Brandon...It is a shame we can't trust Fauchi or Brandon.
quote:

Calling those who evade the booster question “gutless,” Trump suggested that they are trying to avoid offending anti-vaxxer supporters even though they know the booster shot saves lives.

“They don’t want to say it. Because they’re gutless,” Trump said in a new interview with the far-right One America Network. “You got to say it. Whether you had it or not. Say it.”

Trump didn’t name DeSantis in the interview. But there is little doubt he was referring to the rising GOP star, who awkwardly dodged questions about whether he had received a COVID-19 vaccine booster in a recent interview.

DeSantis instead said that he had “done whatever I did, the normal shot” in an interview with Maria Bartiromo on Fox Business Network.

He asserted that people should not be pressured to disclose their vaccination status, a common refrain among conservatives and anti-vaxxers.

That stance didn’t cut it with Trump.

I agree with him about 95% of the time. This is part of the 5%.

frick Trump and his vaccine. If he wants to tie his political career to a failing clot shot so be it.
I'm as MAGA as they come, but if this "vaccine" is the pinnacle of Trump's accomplishments as POTUS, then I'd have to say that his presidency was a failure.

Is devisive because the vax is the key to justifying a digital id/contact tracing. You can imagine where it goes from there regarding mandates. Really counting on the supreme court right now.

He keeps this up and I will add his arse on the trash pile with Ol Taliban Ted.

He also made some statement this week about Elise Stefanik running for President in 2028. Not a good look.

In more ways than one.

Trump's arrogance and ignorance and position here can't be ignored. HE'S FEEDING THE BEAST.

After all that's been revealed -- the jab(s), "variants", the Vax's damaging effects, Fauci-China, the Mandates, the Minimal Benefits / Maximum Side-Effects, Life-Jacking TWO years of our lives -- for WHAT?? And Trump really STILL expects us to trust his judgement??

Nope. I'm OUT.

This. Most of the people scared of the vaccine are the same ones gorging themselves on pink sludge meat, micro plastics, and god knows what else. They don’t give a damn about the heart disease that’s waiting around the corner from what they put into their bodies their entire lives but won’t take a safe vaccine.

Over WHO?

DeSantis? Or Kamala? (against whom I'd instead vote for a Sh*t-Sammich)

Q: WHOSE future Vax policy and actions would you trust more? Trump's? Or DeSantis?

It’s his legacy. I’m not surprised. He wants to vaccines to succeed as bad as the left does. Not for same reasons though

It was Delta, they tell us. And it was coupled with double lung pneumonia.

That's supposed a death sentence. Just saying.
