Anybody in the 9 figure club could be chilling on the beach, but there are a lot of worthless, power-hungry frickwits in DC that will die in office with fortunes they could never spend. And there are a lot more who'd love to be there, like Mitt Romney.

Again, this is not what you stated a few months back.

This narrative is just so ridiculous. It's either dishonesty or complete lack of understanding of how people like Trump live their lives and what their priorities are.

Trump making himself the center of attention - good and bad - is in no small part out of selfishness because it's what drives his very existence. He doesn't care about relaxing and enjoying his family and he's quite likely never spent much time caring for or enjoying his family. Drawing attention to himself in the quest to bask in glory is the most important thing in his life and everything going on is the fulfillment of that.

Feel free to respect the hustle and the byproducts it has or could bring for the country, but this is 100% what he wants, he's not engaging in ANY sacrifice by putting himself through this stuff. If he ends up in the clank perhaps it's quite a bit different, but he views himself as mostly untouchable (and he probably is).
