I have a much different understanding of Jesus. I think he would encourage Christians to peacefully do everything in their power to effect positive change in our nation.
To sit back and do nothing other than condemn Trump and accuse his supporters of worshipping him is the exact opposite of good, orderly, direction.
We should fight and resist peacefully as long as we can. I know Jesus is coming back and that every knee shall bend and every tongue shall confess that Jesus is Lord!
Until that happens, it's our fight.

I dont care who anyone votes for but how do you reconcile Romans 13:1 into all of this?
Also merely refraining in the participation and hope in the world will not save you. Paul is quite clear on what saves you in the end. Man alone has no ability to please God or inclination to respond to God. Ephesians 2
We are in the world but not of it. Christians are needed to be around unbelievers to show them the way the truth and the life/solus Christus. Trump isnt perfect but God can still use him. At least he says the Bible means something to him. At least he is against abortion(mostly) at least he appears to want to do good and have global peace
