Renaming a base could be dumbest issue being debated. It would cost a ton of money for nothing. Basically the general population do not even know the majority of names associated with the bases.

THIS! The black folks I know don’t care about empty symbolic gestures. They want real change, mostly in how police interact with citizens. They find all the pandering with Uncle Ben, Aunt Jemima, and removing tv show episodes for black face insulting. That’s not what they’re asking for. They don’t care about instagram hashtags or kneeling, or street murals. They WANT REAL REFORM!
