Trump is lowering the cost of college

If tweet fails to load, click here. Trump put limits on how much federal loans a student can get from the federal government… and now colleges are having to lower prices as enrollment numbers fall. Amazing what happens when you remove free subsidies. I expect to see more of this continue as student enrollments continue to decline for a bunch of different reasons and colleges realize they can’t afford their bloated staffs

Also need to start recouping defaults from the schools. A school with a high default rate means there's some combination of excessive cost, bad education, and bad career services.

This great, except for one thing.
They're just going to spend the money somewhere else and there won't be an actual reduction in spending.

Government loans do to education costs that insurance does to medical costs that mortgages do to housing costs that car loans do to car costs.

I said it was great. I'm glad it happened. I just pointed out that the way our government works it just means they'll use the money to fund some other form of corruption. I would like to change/fix that.
It that hurts your feelings, it's because you view political things as a personal attack and that's your problem, not mine. All you want to do is glorify Trump and I don't give a remote frick about that. It doesn't mean it's some personal attack on him.

I'm pretty confident the sun will rise tomorrow enough to say it's a fact.
I recognize that something could cause a deviation in that trajectory, but I'm still going to operate on the assumption of it being fact.

No. It's like the sun, while possible I could be wrong the overwhelming evidence and history of government says I'm not wrong.
It's ridiculous to try and debate such a small % of chance and to live your life believing anything else is going to happen.
Especially when there is no mechanism, desire or whatever in place to bring about the change in how things work. The funds will be allocated elsewhere.

It's not my opinion, that's what they do. They take the funds and reallocate them to something else.
I looked it up and what do you know - the funds are being used to cover deficits in the Pell Grant program and to expand eligibility to certain short term career focused programs.
Is it a fact enough for you now?
It's dumb that we are even having this discussion. As if the government would do anything different.
