No he’s not. He’s criticized Russia and Ukraine repeatedly the past few months on both of them stalling to achieve a peace deal.

That is one thing that has confused me. One thing that this war has shown is that Russia does not have the capability to just steam roll into Europe like everyone was terrified about.

Negative. Compare Putin with Macron, Starmer, etc. There is zero comparison in leadership, instinct, education, or background ... or murder, ruthlessness, etc. But the whole situation is a surprisingly poor lapse in execution by his subordinates.

Im surprised you feel the Nato trained army with nato trained equipment, coordinated by Nato logistics, commanded by Nato military experts, whos entire country has been funded and transformed into a war economy for Nato, using Nato intelligence and Nato satellites IS a lesser opponent to Russia. Very interesting

That is always the question the NAFO Trolls go silent on when they claim Russia can't defeat little Ukraine. When you remind them who Russia is fighting against they go silent

Now that he feels insulted by Putin, this just became Trump's war.

Trump should feel insulted by Putin. It’s amazing it has taken this long. Russian state television broadcast nude pics of Melania before the inauguration, and Putin has repeatedly treated Trump like a weak servile person. It was inevitable that Trump would get offended. He has been insulted and brushed off by Putin since he was sworn back into office.

But it isn’t “Trump’s war” and won’t be. It’s Putin’s war. Trump won’t send US troops.

Could be....or it could be Russia wants to preserve as much of Ukraine and its infrastructure as possible. I think if Russia wanted to go full force they could level most of Ukraine's major cities in a few months, it would also risk pulling another nations into the kinetic side of the conflict.

What isn't disputable at this point is that they don't have the ability to accomplish their goals without sustaining massive casualties

If the U.S. invaded Mexico you can bet our death count wouldn't be even 5% of what the Russians have incurred.

This has nothing to do with Trump getting offended. The writing was on the wall after the Zelensky incident in the Oval Office. Lindsey Graham was going on TV saying he didn't know if we could do business with Zelensky. Trump had all the leverage to tell Zelensky at that point you sign the Peace Deal giving up the 4 Oblast you already lost the majority of and if you don't we are pulling all aid and weapons. Zelensky would have signed the Peace Agreement after 1 week. The fact that Trump didn't end it then told me he was going to allow the Neocons to continue the War. Look at his latest interview with the press where he had no idea about the Ukraine Drone attack on Moscow May 20-22 or reports about Putin’s Helicopter being attacked in Kursk. We are supposed to believe that Trump is offended because Putin retaliated against Ukraine after those attacks?

It could be way simpler.

It could be that Putin and Z are both madmen with huge egos who aren’t willing to give necessary concessions for peace.

Trump should wash his hands of it. Pull all financial and weaponry support and say he tried but it’s their mess to figure out now. Cut our losses and stop throwing good money after bad

I guess it depends on what you mean by full force. They have had their best ground units on the front lines since the beginning of the war (VDV, Guard Units, etc.) They could increase bombing with aircraft but it would most likely come at a cost since they still are not able to establish air superiority over Ukraine due to NATO supplied air defense systems.
