This was a light hearted thread meant to point out Trump doing what Trump does, very well. It was legitimately funny.

The speech is likely the same old stuff. Nothing really new to offer and nothing truly conservative for sure.

Glad he’s finally focusing on the real problem and not Ron

He made fun of Desantis for a couple of minutes. Said “man, we did a number on him…he’s falling like a wounded bird”

Their savior got chewed up and spit out and they are very, very, very bitter. It is way beyond angry.

You may have spoken too soon. He dedicated a few mins to Meatball today. It was vintage Trump, and included RDS coming to him with tears in his eyes to ask for help in 2018.

He was funny…said he was trailing to a guy who was politically hit…turned out to be a crackhead.

Even if you exclude the Covid-19 black swan event Trump’s policies sucked, we are doing much better today than that old tiresome Trump crapola…..lol…what a dupe!

You don’t think he had plenty enough attention (of the highest degree I’m sure) already existing in his life even before running in 2016?

No, I don't believe he did. I believe people like him are like junkies, and they need more and more over time.
quote:

he’s actually at a net loss in the area of the type of “positive” attention to which I assume you refer.

He is NOW, but he wants to feel the power that he was feeling when he was president. As powerful as he's been in the past, it was never anything compared to the power and adulation he got as president.

Really, your position is akin to someone saying, "Well, he's already a billionaire, why would he want more?" They just do.

I'll ask you the same thing that the other idiot refuses to answer.

Do you believe it doesn't matter who we elect in '24, that POTUS is so powerless that the Left can run a f'n scam like they did in '20 anytime they want, and there's nothing Trump or any other president could do about it?

That is not hard to do. This administration has failed in every area and decent Americans are paying the price

Well not exactly, because wanting to add to the wealth he already has probably isn’t going to get him indicted in numerous criminal cases and relentless threats to the peace and relative security that he and family enjoyed prior to the jaunt into politics. Thus the cost/benefit analysis comes down to whether there’s a net increase “attention” over and above that which he already enjoyed before that outweighs the costs described above. It just doesn’t make sense on its face, and I do believe Trump is more than capable of the same thought process.

What does it all mean? IMO that there’s some other benefit that he sees being worthy of the cost described above, and not a selfish one as some tend to believe.
