Can you argue Elon didnt do the same thing last year? This was during the DOGE era which an also a failure and does not exist today.

My hope is that demonstrating to the world, and more importantly the Iranian population, that the regime can’t even control the strait will lead to everyone backing us and being weary or even overthrowing the current regime. I’d also like to see us go after the Houthis more and more attacks on IRGC leadership.
It’s very possible that the admiration doesn’t take this route but it’s the one that offers the best chance at victory at this point.

No. Ideally I’d like to see at least Iran having zero control over the strait, no support to their proxies and if we’re really lucky, regime change to something at least palatable
