It has nothing to do with democrats. I don’t agree with carrying in a mall.

No it did the complete opposite it ended the confrontation without anyone getting hurt. Your alternative of defending himself would have been a physical altercation, which would be exacerbating the situation.

Why would assault charges follow a punch if they don’t follow brandishing a gun? A punch is as justified.
