It’s true that Bitcoin is competing with the dollar, but I fail to see how that is a bad thing.

Bitcoin is a scam solely in the fact that if the dollar collapses, your bitcoin is not worth shite. Whole world will rock and this country will spiral in days.

Bitcoin and the cryptocurrency market - most people don't realize their are over 100 cryptocurrencies- can separate a fool from his money in a quick way. If you are careful and use some common sense, you can earn some profits in the market but it is similar to gambling in many ways.
Basically, the market overall, moves in the direction of Bitcoin. If Bitcoin is increasing in value, the rest of the market follows. If Bitcoin drops...well you know the rest.
The market is the wild west of capital markets. There is no regulation and bump groups, insider trading, etc..it all exists to 'steal' your money.
