Excellent choice. Trump has made a lot of bad picks lately, but this isn't one of them.

relative to his peers? about the same really. He actually believes peace is possible though, and he is intelligent unlike that wretched slime ball Petraeus.

Yes but we're hoping that Trump doesn't look to his SECDEF to set foriegn policy and allows Mattis to administrate the military the way it needs to be.

We have a Secretary of Defense? Can we change it to Secretary of Offense? I am in the army. I support this.

Flynn, Pompeo are going to kick arse on isis and immigration. Sessions will be mixed at best but he will ultimately kicks arse on illegal immigration.

Price will beat the shite out of ObamaCare and bring the healthcare industry back to patient centered plans.

Devos is gonna school choice and charter school the frick out of America.

Haley has the temperament and willingness necessary to learn as UN ambassador.

Romney is potentially a great pick for SecState.

I'm worried about the Goldman Sachs executive he's vetting for the treasury department, and there is no one who can convince me that Sessions is a good pick.

Also, I know Devos is a charter school advocate, but isn't she also for Common Core?

What is likely among those outcomes is not beneficial and what is beneficial is not likely.

The Best from Mad Dog

“I come in peace. I didn’t bring artillery. But I’m pleading with you, with tears in my eyes: If you frick with me, I’ll kill you all.”

“You cannot allow any of your people to avoid the brutal facts. If they start living in a dream world, it’s going to be bad.”

I have a couple of liberal vet friends who were still enthusiastic about the idea of Mattis. I don't see a downside on this pick.
