HA! (cites Pagan heros)
You know precious little about "mythology" -- actual or otherwise. Even LESS abut human nature.
The spittle on your screen is evidence that you can't ever contain your overt hostility of and toward Christianity, the Protestant Ethic, AND Biblical pricples & values that maintained a solid foundation of and for American society -- and for Western Civilization in general.
FACT.
On the otherhand, this nation was NEVER founded on pagan-groomer anarcho-tyrannical principles.

The majority of abortions are "miscarriage."
The majority of induced abortions are by pill.

Ahh, so you are one of those who believe moral behavior can be ignored and expect your society to somehow adhere to responsibile, moral economic policies. You think Milton Friedman could show up at Sodom and Gomorrah and give a speech on the free market and economics and they would all go along with it.
You simply can't have your degeneracy cake and eat it too. You want the unlimited immorality, fine. Just don't whine when you get $30+ Trillion in debt, out of control inflation, and a wide open border. They are inseperably linked.
There is no secular utopia that will fix this. Keep trying to piss up that tree and let me know when you stop getting pissed on.

I do wonder what the crossover between rabid abortionists and anti hunting morality.

Describe how an abortion works, or share pictures. I have seen the footage and results. While technically there isn't room for a "hacking" motion, the baby is torn apart in the process most of the time.
The vast majority of abortions in this country in the 21st century are medical, not surgical.

Then you have absolutely nothing to do with the question, you just couldn't help yourself. Every fricking time.

Most recently, it was necessary for me to remind them about the very existence of the gospel of Matthew, wherein the family of Jesus fled to Egypt.

Playing dumb is getting quite easy for you -- especially when you use childishly condescending ploys of synthetic "intellectualism." Tangents AND "coincidences" matter. Especially when two MAJOR "unsound" society-affecting decisions were both made in 1973 (1) Legalizing Infanticide and (2) Declassifying homosexuality as an "Illness".)

If you’re asking specifically about Roe, I have said for about 35 years that the opinion was Constitutionally unsound, and I support the Dobbs decision.
Well, good for you on conceding Roe v Wade was a bogus SCOTUS decision; But have you been using it to help bolster rationalizing your "balance" of justice between Roe AND Wade? (And justification of Infanticide as a method of Birth Control AND matter of "Constitutional Right"?)

Abortion is a ballot loser for Republicans and he knows it. Chicks want the right to kill their babies if Johnny slips one past the goalie. It is what it is and they aren’t backing down from that. It’s only costing repubs otherwise salvageable votes.

quote:Texas v Pennsylvania et al unfortunately spoke to that issue.
But what at the NATIONAL level? Moreover, STATE Electorals are assigned to a National Presidential Elections, aren't they?
As I've said, that particular SCOTUS ruling (Texas had "no standing") may well have been the worst since Dred Scott, perhaps including Dred Scott.
But the ruling speaks directly to inability of external forces to infringe a state's electoral processes in this environment, even when laws were broken to generate the result.

Abortion is not a ballot loser. Abortion as a single issue is a ballot loser. And Republicans can't think of anything to run on other than "Yeah, I'm for that too and Orange Man is bad!"
The problem is the GOP is listening to the same losers they've been listening to for 25 years with the same results. Trump was the first bright spot in the GOP since Reagan left office and they squashed him.

I had noticed you *thought* you were tutoring and re-instructing on matters of the legalisms of past Babylonian and Hebrew cults.
I commend your curiosity and devotion to seeking roots. There is a lot of historical misdirection and diversion out there.
As a Pagan however -- one who is also dismissive and hostile to Christianity and the lineage of Olde Testament and Apocrypha -- you can't quite be sure of what the actual "truth" is due to hardness of your heart and your bias.
Moreover, as Scripture notes, disbelievers and the hardened hearts are "blinded" and not actual privy to God's Truth.
I sincerely hope one day that changes.

Philosophically, Roe has played no role whatsoever in my analysis of the abortion issue, ever.

They want more than that. They want it to be celebrated in the popular culture. They want anyone who protests removed from the public right-of-way by armed agents of the Yankee Empire. They want daddy to never be allowed to know.
The women of this country are collectively guilty of sabotage and should be reduced to chattel status.
