Hmm...I doubt it is nearly as cut and dried as they are saying. Just because you get something out of it doesn't mean you did not make a charitable donation. A lot of charities in this country rely on those types of donations, and we absolutely do not want to end them. If the IRS isn't going after the foundation for this, then I am not inclined to believe the state of New York.

This is not the same as being dissolved due to a legal settlement in a lawsuit brought by the state of New York, but does seem to make it obvious that they were selling favors. Amazing that it still exists.
