Don’t support this at all. Illegals are illegal and need to be taken out.

This also gives anti-Trumpers ammunition. “Incompetent Trump already wants to bring back illegals he deported.”

Exactly—

Another poorly thought-out plan.

It's almost as if strategy and discernment are a much better approach to these complex issues rather than moving fast and breaking things so that we can have some sweet liberal tears to be happy about.

Are you talking a one time fine per head? That sounds reasonable... maybe.

They need to pay a fine and back payroll taxes. They won't want them back as bad when they have to pay them minimum wage, chip in payroll taxes and other employee benefits. And may them liable for any crimes their illegal workers commit if they return, and they have to provide insurance for them.

Well, there used to be a guest worker visa program that worked very well. Similar to this.

Of course, the unions got mad and got it killed in 60s

Would work today

Sounds good!

Maybe Admin47 should start some polls or surveys, Americans have good, fair ideas!

I don't have a problem with LEGAL IMMIGRATION. If you are a God fearing person who doesn't break the law, a hard worker, and wants to actually assimilate. Then I welcome you. No access to government freebies and you need to know how to speak English. They should also start taxing money being sent out of the country that isn't for a business transaction.

I would totally support businesses bringing back workers they vouched for...IF the vouching included supported the workers by covering their medical, and housing needs to a standard. The businesses need to provide full support services. Allowing the businesses to slough off cost to medicade and child support credits, food stamps etc should not be allowed. A business should also certify the person exits the country at end of season, if they are to be allowed bringing more in, next season.

that's the standard in the Middle East labor market.

I would support this as long as they pay taxes, are not a drain on society (no free hand outs ) and no voting. The same as if I were working in another country..

Personally I am not sure if this is to be the case why we should spend millions (billions?) of dollars kicking them out only to say a few days or weeks later "okay, you can come back". Seems like a waster of time and money. If the purpose to somehow "check/approve them" you don't have to put them on expesnive flights to Guatamala. etc.

And again, it turns all the immigrants who came here legally the first time into suckers.

It does seem unfair that they'll get to "skip the line" so to speak, though

agreed = but it is a good gesture and could help grease the skids of the official process.

Absolutely not… they are here illegally therefore should be barred from entry permanently… to hell with the COC and farm lobby…

If a person comes through legal channels, has a job, stays out of trouble and so on, then what is the problem. If they do all of the above, then welcome them and give a path to citizenship.

The MAGA position will continue to flip flop. Dont spend a lot of time trying to make sense of it.

Its done to save face when Trumps "feeling of the day" is acted upon and later found to be irrational.

There will be no mass deportations.
