Are you not able to brainstorm even just one single reason why Trump’s move was in anticipation of some other activity to come that necessitates preemptive action? How about this one: considering the already publicly observed actions of Minnesota state officials, governor himself included, blatantly and very dangerously stirring the pot in an already hazardous situation (as he’s doing yet again, even as we speak), Trump anticipating what eventually did happen/is happening. It’s called damage control. Damage that these dangerous state officials have caused with their belligerent actions and words.
