Any chance the reason he can't seem to make his case today is because of the overly emotionally charged Republican electorate that bristles at the mere questioning of DT?
Any chance? I guess so.

Vivek attacked Trump and J6 brutally in writing. Did RDD? Haley has attacked Trump. They've done okay.

DeSantis, as far as I'm aware, has been fairly gentle with Trump. Meanwhile Trump (unfairly) ripped him up one side and down the other, and he's lost points compared with the also-rans.

And Desantis has done much better than both of them

I think most people on the right want that, we just disagree on who’s the most capable person for delivering that foot.

I’ve said this before, just because he presented it to him doesn’t mean he authorizes it. I have a presidential award and I know the president didn’t see it.

In his campaign? I've seen quite a bit of Vivek since he announced and he's been nothing but supportive/complimentary of Trump.

You've got to have points to lose them, so the comparison to Vivek/Haley isn't relevant.

And isn't your argument here supportive of my suggestion? You acknowledge Trump has unfairly (and I say dishonestly) ripped DeSantis, so is it logic or emotion that has Trump superfans nodding their heads in enthusiastic agreement and reveling in Trump's burning down of perhaps the most successful conservative in the country today.

Cult45 won't hold him accountable for anything he says or does.

Has he?
Vivek increased in the polls. (tripled his numbers?) Haley is treading water, maybe up a skosh. DeSantis is losing ground, at least in the surveys I've seen.

Now he is still running in second place if that's what you mean by "much better." There is also a long time before the actual primaries, but I'm just not seeing a light at the end of the DeSantis tunnel. He's been fantastic in Florida. I assume that will translate at some point. It hasn't so far though.

Are you saying that Trump just does whatever someone tells him to do, without checking it out first?
That sounds an awful lot like Joe Biden.

BTW, there’s video of Trump placing the medal around Fauci’s neck.

Nooooo.

Vivek would like to bury those words next to Jimmy Hoffa.

He’s been fantastic as an executive, not a campaigner. They’re not really related.

That tweet is a pretty brutal takedown. I still don't understand why Trump doesn't do a mea culpa on covid stuff

For the same reason he continues to go after Ron, when according to the Cult45's, Ron as ZERO chance of winning the nomination.

It’s why I’ve never predicted he’d win the primary. Competence isn’t always enough.

We may all be screwed.

Competence is almost never enough.

Which is being proven.

It isn't. Those days are over.

Which is why Gavin has a such a great shot at winning.
