This craziness won't stop until the funds stop, basically funds need to be drained. If you think paying people for everything but work is going to help... well, I got a bridge to sell you.

You still believe the money was to fix stuff destroyed in the riots? They wanted riots so they could steal the bailout money, not help people.

Why can’t “Black Lives Matter” step in? I’m sure if they start a fundraising effort with BLM fronting the efforts they can raise the funds, no?

I wonder if this will sway any voters for Trump in Minnesota which is a nice swing state that he wants to win.

Correct me if I’m wrong but isn’t Minnesota a firmly blue state and has been for a long time?

Trump lost but not by much less than 46,000 votes.

Trump needs to control that messaging though. I'm not giving you money because your local leaders declined to protect you when i offered help in late May. I'm not putting the rest of the country in more debt because your leaders decided to let rioters commit crimes uncontested for 2 weeks.

i told that to my wife last night and she said "man, Trump's an a-hole." then explained that Minnesota let the rioting happened, declined Trump's help with national guard, then called the guard too late, and now want money to bail out their bad decisions.

i don't want the good people of Minnesota to suffer, but they elected people that chose appeasement over peace, but will have neither.

Yea. I mean. MN was the only state to vote for Mondale in 84’. The only one.

They have never been anywhere close to a swing state. If a Republican wins MN statewide, the Dems are in shambles there.

If the governor and mayor had asked for the national guard or military for support,

The mayor did ask for the guard, the governor approved the request.

The MN Governor asked how and where they should be deployed and the mayor said, he didn't know. The Governor, rightfully, said he wasn't going to deploy the national guard without a plan. Two days later, the mayor requested a plan where the national guard protected fire fighters. The lack of local leadership in Minneapolis was astounding. Whats even worse it was the New York Times that wrote the story about their incompetence.

"It's just property, looting is okay!"

Is it still okay if YOU have to pay for it?

That Minneapolis mayor and the Minnesota governor should be arrested. They are so fricking corrupt.

That mayor would get on camera and shed crocodile tears in support of the riots, as the piece of shite gleefully watched his city burn to the ground and countless lives were ruined.

Trump did not win the state in 2016 and is even more unlikely to win it in 2020. Why in God's name would he rebuild the mistakes of his enemy.
