I absolutely agree no public money should be used for Abortions unless it's to save the life of the mother.

How else do you properly enforce the Hyde Amendment?

You do know there was video of that, right?

Good. No organization that donates to political campaigns should receive federal money.

The replies to his tweet are saddening. There is a lot of misinformed people out there.

I think that most informed people understand that abortion services are something of a loss-leader for Planned Parenthood and that a requirement for separate physical facilities would undermine that.
Who the hell thinks like this? Loss leader?. As though your flippantly describing something off a grocery store shelf. Sick. And good, I hope it undermines the Frick out of it.

You know we must be in the End Times when a President who is likely not a Christian, is supporting Christian principles more than some "Christian" churches and denominations (e.g. the UMC controversy over whether sin is sin).

Wait, I'm alone in wanting the Hyde amendment enforced? I thought that was a pretty well supported position.

Does the Hyde Amendment not already require this?
Yes, and this was done years ago.

This needed to happen. With money being fungible, the Hyde amendment was useless.

I think the Hyde Amendment just prohibits federal funds to be used for abortions. But I dont think it required separation of the entries. So PP could essentially subsidize their abortions with the money it received for other services. This way, there have to be 2 entities or accounts so the $$ only goes to the no abortions one.
You might be right about that. As you know, it is nothing to organize a different corporate entity to operate a subset of services.
In the medical arena I’ve been involved in organizing rural health clinics (federal funds and refs) in which the same provider also operates a general clinic where ordinary insurance patients are seen. The two clinics must be in different physical facilities. This requirement is satisfied by separate waiting rooms and separate examining rooms. It becomes basically an interior design issue.
Since we don’t have the actual regs to look at yet, we will have to wait and see.

I'd also like to see a ban on ALL sales of foetal tissue resulting from abortions.
I'm a cynic. Ever hear about those foetal tissue pills they sell in China?
Not that China doesn't do abortions, but I'd like to know if those pills ever contain DNA from caucasian and black individuals.

Ummmm... it ain't just pills in China. It's in YOUR food and has been for awhile now.
"Since most processed foods on the market today are hardly food to begin with, and typically lack any real flavor or appeal on their own, chemical companies like Senomyx are hired to develop artificial ones (which are often deceptively labeled as "natural flavors") in order to make them taste like real food.
But because these ingredients can be legally disguised with vague descriptors like "artificial flavors" and even "natural flavors," most consumers have no idea that these additives, in some cases, are actually made using the cell tissue of unborn babies that were murdered through abortion."

That's one of many reasons why I homestead. To grow and/or kill 75% of what I eat.
