So they are so filled with TDs they choose to sell at a 20% loss. Sounds like a prog liberal idea to me
Or MAYBE they are selling their units for the same reasons that ANYONE sells his home (relocation, downsizing, etcetera), AND fewer people want to move into Trump's building (decreased demand), resulting in a lower market price for those units. Or some combination of the two.

Boy, they are really sticking it to him.

What he SHOULD have done was just sell all the units up front and then let the owners worry about the price of their particular condo. It’s crazy that he’s being hammered by these prices in the aftermarket.

Oh, wait...
I think everyone understands that Trump is not losing money on these aftermarket sales. The point (to the extent that there IS a point) may be that the market value of Trump's holdings in the building would also be decreasing at the same rates.

Well, that and the fact that the 2020 campaign committee is renting a lot of Tower space that others do not seem to want.

I'll bet you a donut that I can find eleventy billion Twitter-twats who are convinced this is just like when he declared bankruptcy those 4 times and is hiding his tax returns because they are proof of massive fraud that the IRS is too stupid to catch.

So it is very possible that these sellers are getting more than they actually paid but not once the value is adjusted for inflation. What percentage of inflation was used? How long did these people own their condo? This is just another sad hit piece with a qualifier statement that gets overlooked.

So you would advise them that this is a GOOD time to sell?

Nobody sells at a 20% loss unless they are moving to Guyana to join Jim Jones ghost or are these people:

President Trump's longtime home, former campaign headquarters, and signature property sporting his name — has become one of the least desirable luxury buildings in New York City since he took office. Those putting their Trump Tower condos on the market have sold for less than they bought it, with several selling at more than a 20% loss when adjusted for inflation, Bloomberg reported. Comparatively, 0.23% of homes in Manhattan have sold for a loss in the last two years.

Are you claiming that people in NYC not wanting to live in Trump Tower is a left attack on his business investment?

You know the Trump organization is probably snatching these up as fast as they can to flip them again and make a profit. The loss is on the virtue signaling doofus that decided to

I live and work in NY. Wearing a MAGA hat around here is akin to wearing a clan robe, and saying you're a Trump supporter is the quickest path to being a pariah currently known to man. I'm actually shocked the losses are only at 20%. These people aren't virtue signaling, they're trying to cut their losses before they get worse.

And this isn't just his apartments--I work at a large corporation and a large part of my job is traveling and entertaining. We used to take clients to the Trump Spa in Soho, and we would always stay at the Trump Hotel in Chicago (I despise the man, but damn was that hotel fantastic. I could hold my nose and stay there until he ran for president. Then he went from being a skeezy business guy to a full-blown loon. I imagine this was pervasive). No more--clients won't go to anything with his name associated with it, and our company no longer allows us to stay at any of his hotels.

Trump-branded anything is radioactive here.

Which gives me a glimmer of hope that justice isn't completely dead.
