Iran has capitalized on our political fear and history (Iraq) of putting boots on the ground in the ME.
We can’t put troops on the ground unless we are attacked. Troops on the ground without a domestic attack, and you get politically obliterated. An attack on Israel (Oct 7) ain’t gonna cut it w the American people.
The next conflict w Iran will prob start with a dirty bomb on US soil.

We are past the part of fixing as true debt on commitments, way over 100 trillion, has far exceeded any capacity to meet in any global financial context. It’s monopoly capitalism at this point. Continuing to allow there be free riders needs to end yesterday no so much because of costs but because the add nothing. We don’t need to build Iraq, Somalia or any other nation but we can’t let something that effects global economic instability either, not because we need to police but because of capitulations that can happen before we have solid footing. Europe is basically lost until a civil war ensues against the 3 world inhabitants so we need security around us, Greenland for instance. South of USA needs cleansing by its citizens with our help obviously because it is in our interests but no rebuilding. We need 20 years of strong leadership in presidencies
