to add on, the end result of the bill is there are now tampon dispensers in the boys rooms of many of MN's public middle and high schools, especially the twin cities area schools.
tampon tim and the dem legislature knew exactly what they were doing when they passed the legislation. they celebrated and told each other how forward thinking and brave they were.
the name "tampon tim" is earned. he should wear it as a badge of honor.

Probably to virtue signal or cover their arse or to accommodate a very small percentage of people or to account for unisex and all gender restrooms which are becoming increasingly common

I honestly think this is a big problem on the right - mental illness is still treated like it was 1925 or something. Instead of empathy, there's shunning and "shaming".

I'm sure you yourself went to school over the years with kids with: OCD, anxiety disorder, substance abuse disorder, etc.
If the anxiety kid is having crushing panic attacks and constantly disrupting class, seems obvious - no. If managed via medicine/drugs so that it's workable, sure, why not?
In my school district, some autistic kids are mainstreamed, some aren't (although the "non-mainstreaming" can still happen at the mainstream school, just in separate areas).

The comparison I always make to indulging gender dysphoria is anorexia. I don't see any reason anorexics can't be mainstreamed. HOWEVER, it also seems quite obvious to me that teachers aren't supposed to be agreeing with them that they are fat.
Short answer: I don't see any reason why a child with gender dysphoria can't be mainstreamed. I also don't see very well the case for catering to their delusions.

The same way I'm sure half the boys want to peep show the girls' locker room. You don't say boys can't go to the school. You have an actually competent vice principal to keep them honest.
